A short walk up to the summit of Y Domen Fawr, a 504m hill in Blaenau Gwent, towering over the old Steelworks site of Ebbw Vale.
Parking is at a little reservoir above Georgetown. There is a track that takes you alongside the forest and up onto the open hillside. You can continue following the track towards the bike tracks that take you up the first false summit. The track takes you across smooth grass and up onto the summit of the hill which has a bench on it.
I continued on South, following the track down for a while and then coming back along the road and dropping back to the reservoir along the same track.
