The hill has a trig point – buried in the hedge when I visited in summer – a memorial patch of trees and the Decoy Bunker. The memorial – ‘Graigwith Beeches’ – is a patch of trees planted in memory of Richard Stratton Laybourne, 7-5-1914 -to 31-1-1938 who was a pilot who died shortly before WWII.
