From the car park I used it was only just over 500ft of elevation to the summit, so a great option if you&#8217;ve got kids and want to get them up their first official mountain. The tracks are easy to follow and make for easy walking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/uponnothing\/51105464765\/in\/dateposted-public\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51105464765_2789714a5a_b.jpg\" alt=\"The Road to the Mountains\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption>The road up to the car park is a nice drive and gets you very close to Garreg Lwyd.
