You can walk from Allt Lwyd across ridgeways to Pen Y Fan and tick off a few mountains along the way.  There is a small car park directly below the main trail up from Talybont reservoir and it is only 1.5m from that car park to the summit &#8211; but you&#8217;ll ascend just over 1,500ft in that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The trail is easy to follow and pretty easy &#8211; I did this walk with my 8 year old daughter and, despite some complaining, she completed it without any assistance.
