The hill offers many walking trails around and up, as well as being crossed by some longer routes &#8211; the Rhymney River Circular walk and the Rhymney Valley Ridgeway walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/uponnothing\/51410015958\/in\/dateposted-public\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51410015958_2d3e365f0b_b.jpg\" alt=\"Coed Craig Ruperra\" width=\"1024\" height=\"269\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption>Breaking out of the woodland you get great views to the sea. |  Tamron Adaptall 2 35-135 (40A) @ 35mm, f11. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Views of Newport, Cardiff and the coast in general are good, as well as views back to Machen Mountain and Pen-rhiw Tip.
