Brecon is a nice town with good pubs, restaurants and shops. Just as you get to the very edge of town a lane &#8211; which is a public right of way &#8211; veers off left and you can then follow this until a sharp left turn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/uponnothing\/51879067544\/in\/dateposted-public\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51879067544_5a241c975d_b.jpg\" alt=\"Pen-y-crug\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption>Views in every direction. |  Pentax K SMC 28mm f3.5 @ f8.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The track gets steeper here, eventually bringing you out onto the common, which is grassy and has many trails around it.
