{"id":3462,"date":"2023-04-10T10:28:22","date_gmt":"2023-04-10T09:28:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thewalkingkev.co.uk\/?p=3462"},"modified":"2023-04-10T10:28:25","modified_gmt":"2023-04-10T09:28:25","slug":"parc-penallta-circular","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thewalkingkev.co.uk\/index.php\/2023\/04\/10\/parc-penallta-circular\/","title":{"rendered":"Parc Penallta Circular"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"min-width: 260px; max-width: 100%\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/www.outdooractive.com\/en\/embed\/264315774\/js?mw=false\"><\/script><\/div>\n\n\n<p>This is a nice, fairly gentle, circular walk around Parc Penallta taking in all of the highlights &#8211; the ponds, the Pit Pony, the highest point and Penallta Rocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2osmkxe\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52806738303_c21d78462e_b.jpg\" alt=\"Penallta Parc\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The walk starts on a large tarmac path \/ cycle route and takes you past some nice ponds down to a bridge that crosses a railway line. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2osj2M1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52806288326_e67de3bbaf_b.jpg\" alt=\"Penallta Parc\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The Initial path<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2osj2Bb\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52806287756_52c8907a43_b.jpg\" alt=\"Penallta Parc\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This takes you to the main cycle route that you can follow for miles in each direction &#8211; it is signposted so you can see how far certain towns are to walk to.
