It features a large lake with lots of wildlife, as well as forest tracks, open fields, a good play park and a cafe.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/uponnothing\/8712724955\/in\/album-72157633431286956\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/8263\/8712724955_6efa0d5159_b.jpg\" alt=\"Evening Walk\" width=\"1024\" height=\"680\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The main loop around the lake is on good paths and boardwalks, so is suitable even after bad weather. The park can get a bit muddy in places though, but it is fully featured for kids and normally has a couple of coffee vans next to it as well for refreshments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/uponnothing\/8712711575\/in\/album-72157633382424882\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/8393\/8712711575_b04529cfff_b.jpg\" alt=\"Squirrel\" width=\"1024\" height=\"680\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Plenty of very tame squirrels to see as well.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can extend the walk in many different directions if you want as the area is covered with paths and public rights of way.
