Into the Wilderness

A wild walk into a little-visited part of South Wales to take in the 389m trig point of Mynydd-y-glog and Ogof Fawr cave.

Free parking is roadside and off-road where the route starts and there is room for a few cars. This exact route does cross some very tall grass and boggy areas, you might wish to stick to higher ground and not cross where I did. However, once you do cross if you stick close by the fence the walking is solid up to the cave and trig point.

The walk back is following tracks and sheep trails and is much easier.
