A lovely little walk on a very peaceful hill taking in a lonely trigpoint – accompanied by a fine CEN bench – some industrial relics and the photogenic winding wheel.
You can park in a few different places, but I choose a grassy layby with plenty of space for a few cars that leaves you only a short, grassy, walk up to the trig point. Decent paths for the most part, with a couple of trickier sections.
