Cefn Coch, at 574m, is the highest hill in Torfaen, but 3m shy of the highest boundary point of Torfaen which is the nearby Coety Mountain. Like most hills in this area, despite being not that far off of a mountain in terms of height, it is an indistinct mound covered in heather.
The highest point is not marked in any way, with the only positive thing being that you do at some point find a path after reaching it, which at least makes walking away from Cefn Coch easier.
Another hill I have no desire to revisit, but, there are some good views.
