Mountain rank by height: 125 out of 188
Height: 2,175ft | 663m
Region: Black Mountains
Grid ref: SO207279
This is the fourth mountain on the above loop and is marked by a small pile of rocks. It offers good views, but is a fairly indistinct top.
This summit is near the point at which quite a few footpaths converge, offering multiple ways up to this section of the Black Mountains. That makes it feasible – if you can find somewhere to park – to complete a simple up and back to this summit. However, if you have made it this far and walked the above route then you will be tempted to carry on around to Waun Fach and Pen y Gadair Fawr which dominate this part of the skyline.
