The smallest mountain on this walk at 645m, Pen Twyn Glas has two high points, one marked by a small pile of stones and the other by some old stone boundary markers that look like two gravestones.

The walk down from Pen Allt-mawr is quite steep and offers some good views back as the path levels out and you move around a grassy plain towards Pen Twyn Glas.

Pen Twyn Glas is a very central point on this walk, with 360 degree views of the ridgeways that you take to complete it.

The summit is soft grass and this is what you can expect along the ridgeway as it is very gentle and easy walking.

This is a mountain that takes a while to get to from whichever direction you approach it, so it is best completed as part of a larger loop like the one above. It offers good views of the surrounding mountains and is well worth a visit.
