Beacon Hill is a 306m hill in Monmouthshire that is topped by a trigpoint, but is heavily wooded and overgrown so you won’t get any views from it.

The car park is very close to the top, so the walk takes a few minutes. However, you can extend this walk in many different directions as there are footpaths and tracks all over the place.

The paths are clear, easy to follow and clearly well-walked. You do get some views from the car park.

A longer walk around the hill might give better views, but I was pushed for time so just did a simple up and back.
