Rhos Dirion is a 713m mountain in the Black Mountains range. It tops a long ridgeway and has great views North as it steeply drops to open and flat lands. You can get to the summit from three different directions and the walk left or right has great views.

The summit has a trig point, and on a clear day the views North would be great. Walking on the route above you get good views back to Rhos Dirion from the walk to Twmpa (Lord Herefords Knob).

This is a mountain – and a section of mountains – I will come back to from a different direction in good weather to really get these views properly. I highly recommend this part of the Black Mountains.
