Mynydd Blaengwynfi is a 528m hill in Neath Port Talbot. There are a couple of places to park here, at the entrance to the forest track and a bit further up.
The walk is easy and largely on wide gravel roads built for logging and to access the windfarm. The trig point is easy to find, located in a small clearing just off the track.
Views throughout are disappointing, although you do get some views North for one part of the walk, but this is just past this hill when walking towards the next. Apart from from a few small sections the forest obscures views, but also shields you from the elements for a peaceful walk. Expect to see dog walkers and cyclists, but they thin out the further away from the road you get.
Not a hill I can see myself visiting again.
