You can park in a few places to access Penallta Rocks, this route parks in a free car park near a tarmac path that takes you past several ponds and onto the main cycle route, which you can follow to the small path that leads you up to the rocks. This is a good path that has steps on the steeper parts and you can make it up to the rocks quite easily. The views are great, and plenty of different crags to sit on and watch the world go by.

Would make a good timelapse spot at night and in better weather.

This is a busy spot, so sadly you’ll spot litter around and on weekends it is likely you’ll have company, best to come here on an evening when it is a bit colder and you might get it to yourself.
