Pen y Foel is a 331m hill in the South Wales Valleys. It rises above Abercynon and is part forested with crags poking out between the trees. This is a real hidden gem of a hill and a great walk. The views are fantastic, there are lots of routes to choose from and you can stick to easy forest tracks for ease of access.

The hill is topped by a white-painted trig that has several memorials tacked to it. This is one of the finest little hills in South Wales and a brilliant walk.
