A short and easy walk to the summit of Mynydd y Gaer, a 295m hill in Bridgend. The walk has stunning views from the minute you start, with classic Welsh Valleys views North and the Sea South – with views of Exmoor opposite.
There is a dedicated parking area at the top of the road that crosses the hill. There are also spaces further South if needed. There are multiple, clear, paths to the trigpoint as well as tracks made by 4×4 vehicles going offroad.
You can take different routes there and back and extend the route along the ridgeway in either direction.
