A fairly short and gentle walk to the 472m summit of Mynydd Twyn-glas. Parking is high up, so there is not much ascent to worry about and you can stick to the wide gravel road almost all the way to the trig point. This route takes you back on grass paths giving better views down into the wooded valleys.
The views from the off are great, as you’re ascending one of the highest points this far South in Wales. You’ll see the Brecon Beacons North on a clear day, and Cardiff, Newport and England looking South.
