A nice easy walk with minimal ascent as it tracks the low-lying River Usk in a beautiful valley surrounding by famous hills – including the Skirrid, Sugar Loaf and Blorenge.
Parking is at the free Clytha National Trust car park and this provides you with an area of picnic benches as well as the starting point of this circular walk.
The route is easy to follow, and a good part of it follows the Usk Valley walk and is signposted appropriately.
