A beautiful circular walk through a forested valley taking in some stunning views and a real sense of scale that reminds you how the Valleys can sometimes feel like a wilderness.
The walk is largely on good forest trails and easy to follow and walk. The middle section contains a stream, open grass and picnic benches for a break. There is one very steep section towards the end, but that gets you back to the top very quickly. You can then find a little stone-built shelter and follow a streambed back to the forest track.
