This route has some issues as the first footpath vanishes into overgrowth and requires you walking up a hill and over a gate to access the country lane. Then the next off-road section can be very overgrown with bracken. The middle section after this is worth the effort for a fine craggy path and amazing views. I have since returned to this walk and created a shorter version that avoids the dodgy sections.
