A really nice walk starting with ample free parking at Pontypool park and ascending past the Shell Grotto to Pontypool Folly tower. Wide reaching views can be enjoyed before dropping down the Roman Road to the canal, then gently winding your way back to Pontypool Park with the company of Herons and perhaps the odd Kingfisher.
