A wonderful walk starting at St Briavels’ Castle taking in woodlands, gentle fields, calm sections of the River Wye and a lovely pub stop to mark the halfway point.

You can park in the housing estate just over the road bridge which puts you right on the walk. I recommend walking this route in an anti-clockwise direction to get the only real ascent out of the way early on.
